Feedback from Nonlinear Structural Analysis Course

Last week, we are pleased to host our second DIANA Course on Nonlinear behaviour of Reinforced Concrete Structures at Concordia University in Montreal.   This was jointly organised by Concordia University and EERI (the Earthquake Engineering Research Institute).

A large number of participants attended from both engineering companies and academia, and through a range of presentations and exercises using DIANA, gained considerable experience in finite element analysis of reinforced concrete structures subjected to nonlinear effects.

We would like to thank Professor Bagchi and Dr. Karimidorabati for their initial incentive and continued motivation to set up this event; and, of course, those that took the time to attend for their enthusiasm, questions and debate and consideration of DIANA in their future research.
