At the beginning of July this year, we will be in Guimarães, Portugal for the bi-annual Congress on Numerical Engineering (CMN 2019).
Hosted by the University of Minho, this is a forum for discussion about scientific and technical developments in computational mechanics, numerical methods and engineering applications. Plenary sessions are presented by internationally renowned researchers and the event is open to professional engineers, researchers, educators and students.
In conjunction with the course, DIANA FEA is pleased to have been invited to present a course focusing on the application of the finite element method in the structural analysis of concrete and steel structures. We will look at, in particular, nonlinear analysis of reinforced, and fiber reinforced, concrete structures with the aim to model cracking, a speciality of the DIANA software.
