Shell Structure Mesh with DIANA FEAThe webinar will focus on the modelling of an historical curved thin shell complex reinforced concrete structure.
This structure has been surveyed with laser scanning methodology and that has been characterized by means of experimental modal analysis and non destructive or slightly destructive techniques.

The main aspects will be:

  • Modelling of the geometry with reduced topology and elements
  • Linear static analyses
  • Eigenvalue and Direct Response Analyses followed by model updating
  • Design check according to EC
  • Recommendations for seismic and structural retrofitting
