We are looking for a Geometry and Mesh Generation Developer who is interested in enhancing, developing, and architecting high-end geometry and mesh generator in state-of-the-art finite element (FE) software. At DIANA FEA, you will develop code within a state-of-the-art FE code, to create and modify high-end geometry and mesh. The end software deals with complex geometries, and the mesh generation covers both unstructured and structured mesh. Furthermore, you will code to import/export different CAD and FE formats to transfer models between different in-house products as well as between in-house and external software. Another important task will be improving the performance and responsiveness of the graphical user interface (GUI) when working with large and complex finite element models.
We are looking for a candidate who is driven by technology and innovation and enjoys complex challenges. Next to that you have:
- Major in engineering or science
- Strong background in C++
- Affinity with Python
- Professional experience with developments for computational geometry (geometric modeling and meshing)
- Fluent English in speaking and writing
- A valid work permit
Preferably you have experience with:
- CM2 MeshTools®
- Developments of code to import/export CAD and/or FE models
- Finite Element Analysis
Affinity and knowledge to Qt and Git/Gitlab is a plus.
