In this session we take a look at the DIANA masonry material model in context of the continuum model in DIANA. This model is based on engineering input and is suitable for the simulation of hysteretric and anisotropic behaviour of brick segments. A range of benchmark tests in conjunction with full scale lab results are presented and discussed, and the results are then compared.
