Oil & Gas

Used by industry leaders worldwide, DIANA specializes in geomechanical analysis of Oil and Gas reservoirs and wellbores. It features an extensive library of material models, element types, and analysis functions designed in conjunction with the industry.

Helping you reach further and drill with confidence

As the production of oil and gas shifts from easily accessible reservoirs to those located at greater depths or in formations with complex geology, larger risks and hazards become inevitable. Many leading companies in the industry turn to DIANA for specialized analysis of these challenging oil and gas reservoirs and the design of wellbores to reach them.

Analysis and design for reservoir stability

DIANA will help your organization quantify rock-compaction, estimate stress changes and fault slipping in reservoirs, and deal with overburden and surface subsidence encountered in the production of oil and/or gas.

An additional benefit is that DIANA can also be used for the design of wellbores to estimate rock failure, casing deformation, and cementing integrity during well completion, or deal with operation considerations such as pressure, temperature shocks, or fault sliding.

The program is designed so that multiple finite element analyses can be carried out in one analysis command sequence, resulting in a much shorter set up and analysis calculation time.
